Humanoid Species of Kaeknar Menarae

Greater Aknaerae
Greater Aknaerae are the primary humanoid of Kaeknar Menarae. Their species spans the entire globe and populates just about every type of environment.

Description:
Greater Aknaerae have a a striking to their lesser cousins (humans). Though it can be noticed that they have much wider shoulders in addition to a slightly more stocky build and are around double the size.

Eyesight: Good eyesight pretty much equal to humans
Lifespan: up to 420 earth years 370 on average
Intelligence: Greater Aknaerae are gifted with the ability to use about 75-80% of their brains. They can be remarkably intelligent individuals and many have magical capabilities. Though they can be extremely arrogant and foolhardy at times.
Appearance: Human-like although the exact appearance of Greater Aknaerae varies differently throughout areas of the world; which will be pointed out in the factions section.

Gornekar or "Ghouls"
Gornekar in the west are actually rather primitive, living in tribal villages with dark age technology at the best (with the exception of Crag Gornekar). Though in the east they have a large kingdom known as the Jiu-kon. Who could possibly be the most advanced of civilization, considering their mass production of firearm weaponry.

Description: Gornekar are just under the height of the Greater Aknaerae. The main reason for this is that their heads are not positioned vertically. Their spines actually curve forward positioning their head at around the same height as their shoulders.

Eyesight: Slightly farsighted, is the main reason for their lack of extensive literature.

Intelligence: Gornekar have an average intelligence for humanoids. Although they do have very good memory especially in the long term.
Appearance: Very ape like, although they only have around 40% of their body covered in hair. Their arms are longer in proportion to their legs in comparision with Humans. They have strange teeth with mostly human appearance, but with large and sharp canines with a slight but noticeable underbite. They have dark complexion with black hair or brown hair. Just like the Greater Aknaerae the Gornekar's appearance change slightly throughout the world; and they will be pointed out in the faction section.
